My family of four (kids aged 9 and 7) stayed at Grotto Bay for a week in August 2026. We all thought it was great! Its not the most modern or fanciest hotel and does not have nightly shows, but that does not detract from its excellence in my book. The location is great with snorkeling, water sports and a water slide for kids on site, as well as a dive shop for snorkeling and scuba excursions and close proximity to the Blue Hole park. The staff was great! The food was amazing! And the laid back vibe is perfect if you just want some peace and quiet and want to unwind. I cannot say enough good things about this resort!

This was my first trip to Bermuda, and to an all-inclusive property, and the experience could not have been any better.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at this hotel - everyone is so kind and thoughtful, friendly and sincere. Of particular note, Miss June Ann was the first face we saw upon our arrival, and the hotel could not have a better face for their property. She is a very lovely person who provides much information and insight. The restaurant captain, Matthew and his assistant Raymond, were faces that we saw every day (EVERY day!) for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They always made us feel welcome. And while the entire wait staff is great, David, Belden, Michael and Feliciano were just amazing in their service and friendship.
The best part of this trip to Grotto Bay is also the hardest part of leaving: these wonderful people who make Grotto Bay Beach Resort a memorable place, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and quick-made friends. I will always remember my first trip to Bermuda, but I will often think fondly of the Grotto Bay Resort and of these amazing people.

Me and my sister spent two wonderful weeks at Grotto Bay. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, couldn’t do enough to help. A special shout out to David in the restaurant, so helpful, friendly and fun.. his hospitality was just as it should be...fantastic! And the wonderful Captain Raymond who had a smile and worked tirelessly everyday! Thank you. All the other staff were great too! Michael, Jeff, Dario to name but a few. The food is the real gem here as it was delicious every time. We went all inclusive and we are both gluten free and the chefs were attentive there were so many choices for us. They made us pancakes and muffins which were absolutely delicious. Evening meals were always fantastic, we did not have a bad meal throughout the two weeks. We would definitely go back... could not fault it one bit! Thank you to all who made us so welcome!

For those looking to stay close to running trails, Grotto Bay Beach Resort and Spa is located on the eastern end of the island. Grotto Bay offers a short ride from the airport, an underground cave spa, easy access to the Railway Trail and a short ride to UNESCO World Heritage Site of St Georges. Check out the limestone caves that are on Grotto Bays property (top tip: the water in there is cold and great for recovery after a long run).

Bermuda is also where Roy indulged in one of the best massages shes ever had. "At the Grotto Bay Beach Resort you walk into a cave, and there are these floating beds on top of water that you lie on to get a massage. My daughters literally asked if we were at Disneyland."

But it would be a shame to miss out on the tiny islands pleasures and beauties, namely the beautiful blue waters beautifully contrasting the pastel stucco buildings, and Grotto Bay Beach Resort makes a stay on the island as affordable as can be without sacrificing loveliness. With the all-inclusive plan, youll have the run of three restaurants, the private beach, and as much water sports equipment as your heart desires.

Just back from our second visit to Grotto Bay and it was just as good as we remembered. The location is excellent if you like snorkelling, with large numbers of fish within feet of the sandy beach and more secluded spots easily accessible by bus or taxi.
The staff are all so friendly and helpful, and the 3 restaurants serve great food.
We had an ocean front room which I would highly recommend.
The all-inclusive package was worth it for us - the Hibiscus restaurant was our favourite and we pre-booked it every night. The bus & ferry passes included in this package make sight-seeing easy and enjoyable so we used them a lot.
