WALKS & TALKS
With a variety of tours available, you may have a hard time picking just one! Below are brief descriptions of what you can expect on each tour with Tim.

Dockyard Bricks and Brews

Once a Royal Naval base, the Dockyard is arguably one of the neatest, and most diverse places in Bermuda to explore. I can promise you, that you will get a great deal more from touring with me than going by yourself.
Today, many of the buildings have been repurposed and play host to art galleries, a pottery, a Craft Market and much more. We can skew the tour to more history, architecture or art and crafts. It’s YOUR call! Or, leave it to me to give you a bit of both. And, to finish off, I’m quite the beer fan and have a very strong working relationship with the local microbrewery – in fact, I’m the official rep for the brew co. We will sit down together at the end of the tour and sample a flight of 6 draft beers over Q & A about, well, whatever you want to chat about!

90 min tour (on foot for 60 mins)

Start: Dockyard Ferry Stop

Min – 2 people

$55 — per person inc. beer sampling

Hamilton – An Insiders Guide

Hamilton dates back two centuries.  Today, Hamilton is made up of a rich mixture of historic and modern iconic buildings, sculptures and murals, many of them hidden away to some extent so that only an ‘insider’ can bring them to your attention.

It would spoil the surprise if I laid it all out, but believe you me, I know every street, alley, building and have stories a plenty to tell! At the end of the tour, if you need a pointer as to where to eat, drink or where to shop for that unique European fashion, those Bermuda shorts, or even that ideal souvenir for the person minding your cat … I can even help there to!

75 min tour - on foot

Start: Hamilton Bus Terminal

Min – 2 people

$35 pp

Rails and Trails

There are so many nature reserves, many of them quite small and tucked away in Bermuda and I’ve spent professionally more than 30 years working in them or exploring them. I have hand selected a great group of them to explore with you… to give you a taste of the Bermuda that you won’t find on your own, or in the guide books. This tour is ideal for anyone and especially if it’s a multi-generational group of you, it can cater to everyone’s interest level and ability. There’s maybe even time to stop and have a dip in the ocean if you want to cool off!

** Note: I have an idea of where I’d prefer to show you, but if you want to explore a specific place you’ve heard or read about, well, I think I’ve got you covered!

2 hr-2 ½ hr tour ( it has to be a bit open ended as your ability , speed of walking etc will affect pace )

Start :  Varies

Min 2 people

$65pp

A Walk on The Wild Side

Did I mention that my background (was) post-grad research science in UK and close work with the leaders in this field in Bermuda for, well, a long time.

In ‘ A Walk on the Wild Side ‘ – again suited to couples, multi-generational groups , people with a general  or deep academic interest in our flora and fauna , geology and ecology , this tour is right up your street !  This tour is a bespoke tour. It’s going to take you to where I think is best suited to explore what YOU tell me your interest is. For that reason, we build it together in terms of how long, how far and where.

Time varies depending upon tour design

Start :  Varies

Min 2 people

 $40pp/hr (Min 2 hrs)

Deconstructing a Bermuda House

For anyone (like me) interested in how a Bermuda house was built and how it stays up, then this might be the tour for you. We will look at construction materials and methods and look at the key components of a Bermuda house, and of course, at the exteriors of a few Bermuda houses.

Time varies depending upon tour design

Start :  Varies

Min 2 people

 $40pp/hr (Min 2 hrs)
